The current Loombrief website has no reader accounts, payment collection, newsletter signup or advertising trackers. Its stories and illustrations are publicly readable.
Saved stories stay in this browser.
When you save a story, the site stores its article identifier in your browser's local storage. It uses that list to show your saved stories when you return. The list is not sent to a Loombrief account or synced between devices.
You can remove an individual story with its save control. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the whole list. The list can remain available to another person using the same browser profile.
Search happens on your device.
The search page downloads a public index of the sample articles and filters it in your browser. Your search text also appears in the page address. That address may remain in browser history, and opening, reloading or sharing it can send the search text to the hosting provider as part of the request.
Hosting still involves technical requests.
Cloudflare serves this website. Delivering and protecting a page can involve processing technical information such as an IP address, request URL, browser information and request time, including ordinary service or security logs.
Loombrief has not added an analytics service or advertising pixels to this sample. That does not mean the hosting provider processes no request information. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices.
When you contact us.
Email links open your email application. A message you choose to send includes your address, its contents and any attachments, and is processed by your email provider and the provider serving the Loombrief contact inbox.
We use correspondence to consider and respond to the enquiry. An email does not enrol you in a newsletter. This is an ordinary inbox: confidentiality cannot be guaranteed, so avoid sending passwords, payment details or confidential documents.
For a privacy question about this site or a message you have sent, write to sankalp.aiml@gmail.com.
When the service changes.
Reader accounts, paid memberships and active advertising would introduce different data handling. This notice should be updated before those features are introduced. Their appearance in our plans does not mean they are collecting information today.
